QSPA produced 15 productions in 2018, and 13 in the previous year....each ensemble does productions.  And in 2015 we held the first ever Shakespeare Festival on the Sunshine Coast.

e work very hard to produce, original and published works of high standard. Challenge is key to development of every student.

 Young Director and Playwright Project.  
Held at Lind Lane Theatre.  Created  by QSPA to give young people the  opportunity to write and direct plays.   Performing to a packed house.  Now in its fourth year, the Project has proved successful.   Exterrnally adjudicated.

DraculaSunshine Coast Youth Festival

August 2012    Lind Lane Theatre
Our first time in Festival.  The Oresteia, an abridged, physical version by Catherine Steer taken from original published play by Aeschylus in 456 BC. Winning Certificate of Distinction for our leading lady, Tilly Montgomery (14) as Clytemenestra.
Still as bloody as it ever was but just as relevant.
